## Biography

Mallory Portnoy is an American actor and filmmaker. Born and raised in Chicago, she studied improv at The Second City and earned a BFA in Acting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. She later attended Juilliard for graduate studies and is based in New York.

Her stage work includes the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of *Oklahoma!* directed by Daniel Fish, which originated at Bard Summerscape and had an off-Broadway run at St. Ann's Warehouse. She has also appeared in *A Party with Comden and Green* at Café Carlyle and other New York productions at the Public Theater. On screen, she played Betty Comden in the 2023 film *Maestro*. Television credits include episodes of *American Horror Story*, *The Good Fight*, *Grace and Frankie*, *American Rust* and *Helpsters*.

Portnoy co-created the comedy series *Human Interest* with Matthew-Lee Erlbach.
