## Biography

Malte Grunert is a German film producer. He began his career in the 1990s, producing television series such as *Auf Achse* and films including *Der blonde Affe* and *Die Rückkehr des Vaters*. In 2009 he founded the production company Amusement Park, based in Berlin and Hamburg, with partners including Daniel Brühl.

Grunert has produced a number of international features, among them *Perfect Sense* (2011), *A Most Wanted Man* (2014), *Land of Mine* (2015), *The Aftermath* (2019) and *All Quiet on the Western Front* (2022). The latter, directed by Edward Berger, received nine Academy Award nominations and won seven BAFTA Awards, including Best Film and Best Film Not in the English Language for Grunert.
