## Biography

Manny Oteyza, also credited as Manuel V. Oteyza, is a producer and production manager. He is the owner of Manny O Productions, Inc., a Los Angeles and Cincinnati based company formed in 2010. He is a graduate of the American Film Institute Producing program and began his career in narrative script development at 20th Century Fox.

Oteyza produced the documentary *Blackfish* (2013), which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was distributed by Magnolia Pictures, CNN Films and NBC Universal. It was shortlisted for the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature and nominated for a BAFTA. He has produced more than 50 hours of cable programming for Discovery Networks and National Geographic Channel, as well as educational shorts for Disney Educational Products.
