## Biography

Manuel del Campo was a Mexican film editor who worked in Hollywood and British cinema. Born in Mexico City on 14 November 1913, he was educated at Clifton College in England and later served as a flight lieutenant in the Royal Canadian Air Force during the Second World War.

His editing credits include *No Highway in the Sky* (1951), *His Majesty O'Keefe* (1954) and *The Avengers* (1961), on which he worked as supervising editor for 16 episodes between 1968 and 1969. He was married to the actress Mary Astor from 1936 until their divorce in 1941; they had one son.

Del Campo died in London on 16 February 1969.
