Manuel Morón is a Spanish actor born on 9 June 1956 in Cádiz. He trained at the Instituto Dramático de Sevilla and the Carlos Gandolfo Drama Academy, and also studied with Juan Carlos Corazza.

He is known for his role as Doctor 1 in Pedro Almodóvar’s *All About My Mother* (1999) and as Mariano in *El Bola* (2000). Other film credits include *Cell 211* (2009) as Ernesto Almansa, *Dark Blue Almost Black* (2006), *Seven Years* (2016) and *Advantages of Travelling by Train* (2019). On television he has appeared in *La que se avecina* (2007) as Gervasio Chacón, *The Plague* (2018) as Arquímedes and *Patria* (2020) as Herminio.

Morón has received six awards and eight nominations, including for his work in *El Traje* (2002) and the ensemble cast of *Smoking Room* (2002).
