## Biography

Marc Abraham is an American film producer, writer and director. He began his career as a copywriter and freelance sportswriter before writing for television series including *Moonlighting* (1985) and *21 Jump Street*.

He co-founded Beacon Communications in 1990 with Armyan Bernstein and later founded Strike Entertainment in 2002, which had a first-look deal with Universal Pictures. Abraham produced films such as *Children of Men* (2006), *Dawn of the Dead* (2004), *The Rundown* (2003) and *RoboCop* (2014). He made his directorial debut with *Flash of Genius* (2008) and later directed *I Saw the Light* (2015).
