## Biography

Marc Alaimo is an American actor. Born Michael Joseph Alaimo on 5 May 1942 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, he is also credited as Michael Joseph Alaimo and Mark Alaimo. He began his career in theatre after attending Marquette University and moved to New York City to pursue acting professionally. His television work started in the early 1970s.

Alaimo is known for villainous roles across television and film. He appeared in series including *Knight Rider* (1982), *The A-Team* (1983), *Tango & Cash* (1989) as Lopez, *Total Recall* (1990) as Everett, and *Naked Gun 33⅓: The Final Insult* (1994) as a trucker. In the Star Trek franchise he played multiple characters, including Gul Macet in *Star Trek: The Next Generation* (1987) and Gul Dukat in *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* (1993–1999), appearing in 35 episodes of the latter. He has two children, including a son, Michael Antony Alaimo, who works as a television writer and producer.
