## Biography

Marc Byrd is an American composer, musician and songwriter, best known as one half of the ambient and post-rock duo Hammock alongside Andrew Thompson.

Hammock composed the original score for the 2017 film *Columbus*, directed by Kogonada and starring John Cho and Haley Lu Richardson. Byrd previously fronted the alternative rock band Common Children and performed with GlassByrd, a project with his wife Christine Glass.
