## Biography

Marc Ceccarelli is an American animator, director, producer and writer. Born on 4 January 1968 in Bakersfield, California, he has worked primarily in television animation.

He is best known for his contributions to *SpongeBob SquarePants* (1999), on which he has been credited as a writer, storyboard director, showrunner and executive producer. He has also written for *Phineas and Ferb* (2007) and *Uncle Grandpa* (2013), and developed the spin-off series *Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years* (2021) and *The Patrick Star Show* (2021).

Ceccarelli shared a 2018 BAFTA Children's Award for International Animation and a 2018 Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Animated Series, both for *SpongeBob SquarePants*.
