## Biography

Marc Guggenheim (born 24 September 1970) is an American screenwriter, television producer, comic book writer and novelist. A native of Long Island, New York, he practised law in Boston before moving to California to pursue screenwriting. His first produced television work was an episode of *The Practice* (2001).

He wrote for *Law & Order* (2001–2004) as a writer and executive story editor, and later served as a producer on series including *Jack & Bobby* (2004–2005) and *CSI: Miami* (2005). With Greg Berlanti he co-created *Eli Stone* (2008–2009). Guggenheim co-developed and wrote extensively for *Arrow* (2012–2020) and *DC's Legends of Tomorrow* (2016–2022), and wrote the screenplays for the feature films *Green Lantern* (2011) and *Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters* (2013). He has also written comics and novels, and directed an episode of *Legends of Tomorrow*.
