## Biography

Marc Samuelson is a British film and television producer. He ran Samuelson Productions with his brother Peter Samuelson from 1990 to 2006, producing films including *Wilde* (1997), *Arlington Road* (1999) and *Stormbreaker* (2006).

From 2007 he was a director of CinemaNX, the Isle of Man-backed film investment company, where he produced or executive produced titles such as *The Disappearance of Alice Creed* (2009), the BAFTA-nominated *Me and Orson Welles* (2008), *Chico & Rita* (2010) and *Wild Target* (2010). He has also executive produced the BBC series *The Shadow Line* (2011).

Samuelson is an executive producer and director of the independent television production company Route24. He previously served as managing director of Umbrella Films and held positions including director of the Association of Independent Producers and the Edinburgh International Television Festival.
