## Biography

Marc Streitenfeld is a German composer of film scores. Born in Munich in 1974, he moved to Los Angeles at the age of 19 and began working as a music editor. He collaborated frequently with director Ridley Scott in that capacity on films including *Hannibal* (2001), *Black Hawk Down* (2001) and *Kingdom of Heaven* (2005).

Streitenfeld composed his first feature score for Scott's *A Good Year* (2006). Subsequent credits as composer include *American Gangster* (2007), *Robin Hood* (2010), *The Grey* (2011) and *Prometheus* (2012). He has also scored independent films such as *Poltergeist* (2015) and *All I See Is You* (2016).

His work on *Prometheus* was recorded with a 90-piece orchestra at Abbey Road Studios.
