## Biography

Marc Webb is an American director of films and television, and a former music video director. Born on 31 August 1974 in Bloomington, Indiana, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Madison with a degree in English.

Webb made his feature film directorial debut with *(500) Days of Summer* (2009). He subsequently directed *The Amazing Spider-Man* (2012) and its sequel *The Amazing Spider-Man 2* (2014). His other feature films include *Gifted* (2017) and *The Only Living Boy in New York* (2017). He directed the Disney live-action remake *Snow White* (2025).

On television, Webb directed an episode of *The Office* (2010). He has also directed episodes of series including *Limitless* (2015), *Crazy Ex-Girlfriend* (2015–2019), *The Society* (2019) and *Why Women Kill* (2019).
