## Biography

Marco Ilsø is a Danish actor. He began his career as a child actor, playing the lead role of Mikkel in the 2008 Danish Christmas series *Mikkel og guldkortet* across 24 episodes.

Ilsø is best known for portraying Hvitserk Lothbrok in the historical drama series *Vikings* from season 4 to season 6 (2016–2020). His other credits include the films *The Absent One* (2014), in which he played a young Ditlev, *The Model* (2016) and *Wild Men* (2021), as well as the series *Borgen – Power & Glory* (2022). He has also appeared in *Bullshit* (2024).
