## Biography

Marco Mak Chi-Sin is a Hong Kong film editor and director. He began working in the industry in the 1970s and has credits as editor on more than 100 films.

He edited *Once Upon a Time in China* (1991) and its sequels *Once Upon a Time in China II* (1992) and *Once Upon a Time in China III* (1993), as well as *Iron Monkey* (1993), *Twin Dragons* (1992) and *Knock Off* (1998). Mak has also directed films including *The Blood Rules* (2000), *Love Correction* (2000) and *A Gambler's Story* (2001).

Born in Hong Kong in 1951, he has worked extensively with director Tsui Hark and received a Hong Kong Film Award for Best Film Editing for *Once Upon a Time in China*.
