Marcus Mortimer is a British director and producer. He was born on 14 March 1954.

He directed three episodes of the first series of *Jonathan Creek* (1997). His other directing credits include the mini-series *In the Red* (1998), the television film *Bostock's Cup* (1999) and episodes of *Dad* (1997). As a producer he worked on *My Hero* (2000–2006) and earlier series including *The 10%ers* (1994). He is a company director at Big Bear Films.

Mortimer won a BAFTA Television Award in 1998 for Best Drama Series.
