## Biography

Marcus Norris is a composer and music director. He composed the scores for the Apple TV+ miniseries *Lady in the Lake* (2024) and the feature film *Honk for Jesus. Save Your Soul.* (2022). He is also credited as composer on the Netflix series *Bandi* (2026).

Norris founded the ensemble South Side Symphony in 2020. He holds a PhD in Music Composition from UCLA, awarded through the Cota-Robles fellowship, and has received commissions including from the Atlanta Opera. His work includes orchestrations for Beyoncé’s 2023 performance in Dubai and for Andra Day’s album *Cassandra* (2024), as well as serving as music director for the 2022 Wearable Art Gala.
