## Biography

Maren Schmitt is a German producer of film and television. She is credited as producer on the feature *Sound of Falling* (2025), directed by Mascha Schilinski.

In 2019 she completed a Master's degree at the Film University Babelsberg Konrad Wolf. With her sister she founded the production company Sailor's Yarn, through which she produced the documentary *Adelheid, Kornelius & die Töde* (2018).

Schmitt works at Studio Zentral, a production subsidiary of ZDF Studios, where she has also produced the series *Wir* (2021–2023, also known as *All About Us*) and the feature *Every You Every Me* (2024), often in collaboration with Lucas Schmidt.
