## Biography

Margaret Kerry (born Margaret McCarty, later Peggy Lynch) was an American actress, dancer and voice artist. She began performing as a child in the 1930s, appearing in Our Gang shorts and other films under her early stage name.

She is best known for her work on the 1953 Disney animated film *Peter Pan*, in which she provided the live-action reference model and movements for Tinker Bell and voiced a mermaid (uncredited). Other credits include appearances in *If You Knew Susie* (1948) and episodes of *The Andy Griffith Show* (1960).

Kerry later worked in voice-over, radio production and hosting. She died on 11 June 2026.
