## Biography

Margaret Seddon was an American actress who appeared in more than 100 films between 1915 and 1951, often in supporting or uncredited roles. She made her screen debut in *The Dawn of a Tomorrow* (1915) and continued working into the early 1950s.

Seddon performed in vaudeville with Margaret McWade in an act known as the 'Pixilated Sisters', which they reprised in the film *Mr. Deeds Goes to Town* (1936). She is also credited as Ellen, the Maid in *Smilin' Through* (1932). Among her other film appearances are *Quality Street* (1927), *Raffles* (1939), *The Hunchback of Notre Dame* (1939), *The Bank Dick* (1940) and *House by the River* (1950).

She performed on Broadway in productions including *Modern Marriage* (1911) and *The Things That Count* (1913).
