Margaret Smith is an American stand-up comedian, actress, writer and producer. Born in Chicago, Illinois, in 1956, she began her career as a stand-up comic known for her deadpan and acerbic delivery.

Her film roles include the School Guard in *GoodFellas* (1990), a Nurse in *The Blob* (1988), the Woman Cop in *Bound* (1996), a Colorado State Patrol Officer in *Larger Than Life* (1996) and a Stewardess (voice) in *Rugrats in Paris: The Movie* (2000).
