Margaret Whitmer, also credited as Margy Whitmer, is an American television producer. She graduated from Chatham College (now Chatham University) in 1974 with a degree in history.

Whitmer worked on *Mister Rogers' Neighborhood* from 1982 to 2001, serving as associate producer and later producer across 265 episodes. She has also contributed as a producer and curriculum consultant to *Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood*, and produced the 2004 television film *Fred Rogers: America's Favorite Neighbor*.

She appeared as herself in the 2018 documentary *Won't You Be My Neighbor?*.
