## Biography

Margaret Wright (11 January 1917 – 20 August 1999) was an American actress. Born in New York City, she provided the uncredited voice of Casey Jr. in the Disney animated film *Dumbo* (1941), using a Sonovox device. She also voiced the character and appeared as herself in *The Reluctant Dragon* (1941).

She contributed uncredited voice work to other Disney shorts, including *Three Orphan Kittens* (1935) and *Golden Eggs* (1941). Later credits include an appearance as herself in the documentary *The Life and Times of Rosie the Riveter* (1980) and the role of Mary Jenkins in *I'll Be Home for Christmas* (1998). She died in Los Angeles.
