## Biography

Margo (born María Marguerita Guadalupe Teresa Estela Bolado Castilla y O'Donnell, 10 May 1917 – 17 July 1985) was a Mexican actress and dancer. She appeared in numerous American films and television productions from the 1930s onwards, often in supporting roles. Her credits include *Lost Horizon* (1937) as Maria, *The Leopard Man* (1943) as Clo-Clo, *Viva Zapata!* (1952) as a soldadera, and an episode of *Perry Mason* (1957) as Serafina Bacio.

She trained as a dancer and performed from childhood with her uncle by marriage, bandleader Xavier Cugat. Margo also worked on Broadway, notably in *Winterset* (1935). She became a naturalised US citizen in 1942. In 1945 she married actor Eddie Albert; their son Edward Albert also became an actor. She died of brain cancer in Pacific Palisades, California.
