## Biography

Margot Wilson is an Australian costume designer. She trained at East Sydney College, graduating with a Certificate in Fashion in 1977.

Wilson’s credits include costume design on Terrence Malick’s *The Thin Red Line* (1998). She has worked repeatedly with director John Hillcoat on *The Proposition* (2005), for which she won an AFI Award, *The Road* (2009) and *Lawless* (2012). Other notable films are *Lantana* (2001), *The Dressmaker* (2015), for which she received an AACTA Award, *The Nightingale* (2018) and *Triple 9* (2016). She has also designed for television series including *Total Control* and *Shantaram*.
