María Camila Arias is a Colombian screenwriter. She co-wrote the screenplay for the film *Birds of Passage* (2018), which premiered in the Directors’ Fortnight section at the Cannes Film Festival.

Her other credits include *Candelaria* (2017), for which she also served as executive producer, the series *Green Frontier* (2019), *Clara Sola* (2021), *The Kings of the World* (2022) and *Pimpinero: Blood and Oil* (2024). She contributed as writer and story editor to the Netflix series *One Hundred Years of Solitude* (2024).

Arias is based in Montreal, Canada. She directed the short film *Soleil de nuit* (2023).
