## Biography

Maria Louis is a British actress. She trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts (ALRA), where she held a scholarship and received an Olivier Bursary award from the Society of London Theatre.

She played Aldona in the BBC series *People Just Do Nothing* (2014–2015) and Shelley in *EastEnders* (2019–2020). Other credits include the Care Home Nurse in *Slow Horses* (2024), Aniela Jasinski in *We Were the Lucky Ones* (2024), and an Armed Police Officer in *Code of Silence* (2025). She has also worked in voice roles for television and video games.
