## Biography

María Luisa Robledo was a Spanish-born actress who worked in Argentina. She was born in Madrid on 28 September 1912 and trained in singing, piano and violin. She performed in zarzuela before moving to Argentina in 1935 with her husband, the actor Pedro Aleandro.

Robledo made her film debut in *Los hijos del otro* (1947) and appeared in supporting roles in films including *Rosaura at 10 O'Clock* (1958), *Crónica de un niño solo* (1965) and *The Official Story* (1985), in which she played Nata. She also worked in television. Her final screen role was in *Juego limpio* (1996). She died in Buenos Aires on 26 October 2005.

She was the mother of actresses Norma Aleandro and María Vaner.
