Mariclare Catherine Costello (3 February 1936 – 17 April 2026) was an American actress. She appeared as Audrey in the 1980 film *Ordinary People* and played Rosemary Hunter Fordwick in 15 episodes of the television series *The Waltons* (1972–1977).

A lifetime member of The Actors Studio, Costello had an extensive theatre background that included Broadway appearances in productions such as *After the Fall* (1964) and *Harvey* (1970). She was married to actor Allan Arbus from 1977 until his death in 2013. After her acting career she taught at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles.
