## Biography

Marie-José Sanselme is a French screenwriter. She studied literature and served as cultural attaché at the French Embassy in Tel Aviv from 1994 to 1998.

Sanselme has collaborated with Israeli director Amos Gitai since *Kippur* (2000), co-writing the screenplays for *Eden* (2001), *Kedma* (2002), *Alila* (2003), *Promised Land* (2004), *Free Zone* (2005), *Disengagement* (2007), *Roses à crédit* (2010), *Ana Arabia* (2013), *Tsili* (2014), *Rabin, the Last Day* (2015), *A Tramway in Jerusalem* (2018), *Laila in Haifa* (2020) and *Shikun* (2024). She also contributed to the segment "Israel" in *September 11* (2002).
