## Biography

Marilyn Eastman was an American actress. Born in Iowa on 17 December 1933, she began her career in radio in Pittsburgh before working in industrial films and commercials with business partner Karl Hardman.

She appeared as a secretary in an episode of the television series *Perry Mason* (1960). Eastman played Helen Cooper in the horror film *Night of the Living Dead* (1968), also contributing to its makeup and screenplay; she later appeared in *Houseguest* (1995) and *Santa Claws* (1996). She died in Tampa, Florida, on 22 August 2021.
