## Biography

Mario Conocchia was an Italian actor. He appeared in several films directed by Federico Fellini.

His screen debut came in *La dolce vita* (1960), in which he played a lawyer (uncredited). He returned in *8½* (1963) as Conocchia, the production manager, a role in which he was dubbed by Mario Carotenuto. Further appearances included *La mia signora* (1964), *Giulietta degli spiriti* (1965) as a lawyer, *Il morbidone* (1965), and an uncredited part in *Ginger e Fred* (1986). He also provided uncredited Italian voice dubbing for Gore Vidal in *Roma* (1972).

He was the father of voice actress Luisella Visconti, who died in 1967.
