## Biography

Marion Parsonnet (1905–1960) was an American screenwriter, producer and director. He began screenwriting in 1937 with credits including *Beg, Borrow or Steal* for MGM, and went on to work for studios including Columbia Pictures.

His credits include the adaptation for *Cover Girl* (1944), the screenplay for *I'll Be Seeing You* (1944) and the screenplay for *Gilda* (1946). Parsonnet also worked in television as a producer and writer, including on series such as *Steve Randall* (1952), and operated Parsonnet Studios.
