## Biography

Mark Blankfield (1950–2024) was an American actor and comedian. Born in Pasadena, Texas, he began his career as a regular cast member on the ABC sketch comedy series *Fridays* (1980–1982).

He appeared in films including *The Incredible Shrinking Woman* (1981), *Jekyll and Hyde... Together Again* (1982), *Robin Hood: Men in Tights* (1993) as Blinkin, and *Dracula: Dead and Loving It* (1995) as Martin. His television credits include episodes of *Taxi*, *Night Court*, *Sledge Hammer!*, *Saved by the Bell*, *Arrested Development* and *Sabrina, the Teenage Witch*.

Blankfield was married to actress Brandis Kemp from 1972 to 1987.
