## Biography

Mark Conte is an American film and television editor. He began working in the editorial department in the late 1970s, with early credits including assistant editor roles on *Who'll Stop the Rain* (1978) and *On Golden Pond* (1981).

Conte has edited numerous feature films, including *Under Fire* (1983), *Turner & Hooch* (1989), *Double Impact* (1991), *Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot* (1992), *Posse* (1993), *Fluke* (1995) and *The 6th Day* (2000). His television work includes episodes of *Person of Interest*, *Lethal Weapon* and *Manifest*. He is the son of actor and director Richard Conte and actress Ruth Storey. He received a BAFTA nomination for editing *Under Fire*.
