## Biography

Mark Day is a British film editor. He has worked extensively with director David Yates on television projects including *State of Play*, *Sex Traffic*, *The Way We Live Now*, *The Young Visiters*, *The Girl in the Café* and *The Sins*, as well as the final four *Harry Potter* films: *Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix* (2007), *Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince* (2009), *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1* (2010) and *Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2* (2011).

Day has edited other feature films including *Ex Machina* (2015), *About Time* (2013), *Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them* (2016), *The Legend of Tarzan* (2016), *Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald* (2018), *Downton Abbey* (2019), *Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore* (2022) and *Pain Hustlers* (2023). He edited *Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy* (2025). He won two BAFTA Television Craft Awards for Best Editing for *State of Play* and *Sex Traffic*, and received further BAFTA, Royal Television Society and Primetime Emmy nominations for his television work.
