Mark Hudis is an American television writer and producer. He was born on 19 February 1968 in Tarrytown, New York. He began his career in 1997 with a story credit on the CBS sitcom *Cybill* and subsequently joined the writing staff of *That '70s Show* (1998–2006), where he wrote 22 episodes and rose to executive producer.

Hudis worked as a writer and co-executive producer on *Nurse Jackie* (2009–2010). In 2011 he joined the writing staff of HBO's *True Blood* (2008–2014) as co-executive producer and writer of five episodes; he was named showrunner for its sixth season in 2012 before stepping down early in production.

His later credits include writing and producing work on *Elementary* (2012), *Hand of God* (2015), *Tell Me a Story* (2018–2020) and *First Kill* (2022). The writing staff of *Nurse Jackie* received Writers Guild of America and Primetime Emmy nominations.
