## Biography

Mark Kapner is an American musician and actor. He played keyboards with Country Joe and the Fish at the Woodstock Music and Art Fair in 1969 and appeared as Self – Country Joe and the Fish in the 1970 documentary film *Woodstock*.

He studied at Brown University after attending Sanford H. Calhoun High School in Merrick, New York. Kapner later performed with Neil Diamond’s band in 1970 and 1971. He appeared in the 1971 film *Zachariah* and served as Music Director at the Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health in Lenox, Massachusetts, from 1991 to 1995.
