## Biography

Mark Lee Ping-bing is a Taiwanese cinematographer, photographer and author. He began his film career in 1977 and started a long collaboration with director Hou Hsiao-hsien in 1985.

He is credited as cinematographer on *In the Mood for Love* (2000), for which he shared the Grand Technical Prize at the Cannes Film Festival. His other credits include *Fallen Angels* (1995), *Millennium Mambo* (2001), *The Assassin* (2015) and *Norwegian Wood* (2010). He has received seven Golden Horse Awards for Best Cinematography.
