## Biography

Mark Lewis is an Australian documentary filmmaker, director, producer and writer. He directed *Cane Toads: An Unnatural History* (1988), a film about the introduction of cane toads to Australia, and later returned to the subject with *Cane Toads: The Conquest* (2010).

His other directing credits include *The Wonderful World of Dogs* (1990), *Rat* (1998) and *The Natural History of the Chicken* (2000). He served as second unit director on the feature film *Little Women* (1994) and appeared as himself in the documentary *Man on Wire* (2008). Lewis was active from the late 1970s until around 2010.
