## Biography

Mark Livolsi was an American film editor. He graduated from Penn State University with a degree in film in 1984 and began his career as an assistant editor, working on four Woody Allen films edited by Susan E. Morse.

His first solo editing credit came on Cameron Crowe's *Vanilla Sky* (2001). He went on to edit several Crowe films, including *We Bought a Zoo* (2011), as well as *Wedding Crashers* (2005), *The Devil Wears Prada* (2006), *The Blind Side* (2009), *The Jungle Book* (2016) and *The Lion King* (2019). Livolsi received four ACE Eddie Award nominations.

He died in Pasadena, California, on 23 September 2018, aged 56. *The Lion King* is dedicated to him.
