## Biography

Mark MacEwen is a British cinematographer specialising in natural history, adventure and science documentaries. He has worked on landmark BBC series including *Human Planet* (2011) and *Planet Earth II* (2016), for which he served as cinematographer on three episodes.

His other credits include *Dynasties* (2018), *Seven Worlds, One Continent* (2019), *Prehistoric Planet* (2022) and *Dynasties II* (2022). MacEwen has filmed in more than 30 countries, often in extreme environments. He won a BAFTA Television Craft Award and a Primetime Emmy for his work on *Planet Earth II*.
