## Biography

Mark McKinney is a Canadian actor, comedian and writer. Born in Ottawa, he co-founded the sketch comedy troupe The Kids in the Hall in the mid-1980s. The group starred in a television series that ran from 1989 to 1995 and the 1996 feature film *Kids in the Hall: Brain Candy*, for which McKinney also wrote.

He joined the cast of *Saturday Night Live* from 1995 to 1997. McKinney co-created, wrote and starred in the television series *Slings and Arrows* (2003–2006). His film credits include *Spice World* (1997) as Graydon, *A Night at the Roxbury* (1998), *The Last Days of Disco* (1998) and *Superstar* (1999).
