Mark Persons is an actor. He played the grey Drone #1 “Dewey” in the 1972 science fiction film *Silent Running*, directed by Douglas Trumbull. The three drones in the film were operated by bilateral amputee actors.

He also appeared as himself in the 1972 featurette *The Making of 'Silent Running'*. Persons later joined the Screen Actors Guild.
