Mark Powley is a British actor. Born on 4 October 1963 in Chelmsford, Essex, he began his career in the mid-1980s and has worked extensively in British television and film.

He is best known for playing P.C. Melvin in 88 episodes of the police drama *The Bill* (1987–1990) and for his role as Andy Love / Friendly Screw in the 2008 film *Bronson*. Other television credits include appearances in *Next of Kin* (1995–1996), *Coronation Street* (2001), *Hollyoaks* (2002–2003), *Lewis* (2007) and *Death in Paradise* (2011). Film roles include *Wing Commander* (1999) and *Bloody New Year* (1987).

Powley’s daughter is the actress Bel Powley.
