## Biography

Mark Roberts (born Robert Ellis Scott) was an American stage, film and television actor. He appeared in over 100 films between 1938 and 1994, often credited under the names Robert Scott, Robert E. Scott or Bob Scott. A native of Denver, Colorado, he trained at the University of Arizona and served in the United States Army Air Forces during the Second World War.

Roberts is known for his supporting role as Gabe Evans in the 1946 film *Gilda*. He had an uncredited part in *It's a Wonderful Life* (1946) and made seven guest appearances on *Perry Mason*. His television credits also include episodes of *Murder, She Wrote*, *Highway to Heaven* and *The Outer Limits*.
