## Biography

Mark Stevens is an American film editor. He began his career in the late 1970s as an assistant editor on television films and features, including *Hard to Kill* (1990), *The Hand That Rocks the Cradle* (1992) and *The Fugitive* (1993).

He is best known for his long collaboration with director Joel Schumacher. Their joint credits include *Batman Forever* (1995), *Batman & Robin* (1997), *8mm* (1999), *Phone Booth* (2003) and *The Number 23* (2007). Stevens has also edited *Chain Reaction* (1996), *Freddy vs. Jason* (2003), *The Final Destination* (2009) and *The Collection* (2012).
