Marshall Manesh is an Iranian-American actor. Born on 16 August 1950 in Mashhad, Iran, he moved to the United States in the mid-1970s and performed with the Persian Theater Group, touring for eight years.

His film debut was as Jamal Khaled in *True Lies* (1994). He has appeared in more than 100 feature films and television projects, including *The Big Lebowski* (1998), *Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End* (2007) and *Seeking a Friend for the End of the World* (2012). On television he is known for the recurring role of Ranjit on *How I Met Your Mother* (2005–2014), as well as appearances in *Will & Grace*, *Scrubs* and *Boston Legal*.
