## Biography

Marston Fay (1914–1998) was an American film and television editor. He began his career editing feature films including *Back to Bataan* (1945), *Desperate* (1947) and *Roughshod* (1949).

Fay worked extensively in television from the late 1950s onwards. He edited 66 episodes of the Western series *Wagon Train* (1957–1963) and 31 episodes of *The Fugitive* (1963–1966). He later edited 66 episodes of *The F.B.I.* (1966–1973) as well as episodes of *Cannon*, *Barnaby Jones* and *The Streets of San Francisco*. He received a Primetime Emmy nomination for his work on *Wagon Train*.
