## Biography

Martha Howe-Douglas is an English actress and writer. She graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in 2003. Early television roles included a part in the 2003 Christmas special of *The Office* and the receptionist Donna Parmar in the BBC soap opera *Doctors* (2006–2007).

She is known for her work with the Them There collective, appearing in multiple roles in the children's sketch series *Horrible Histories* (2009–2013). She co-created, co-wrote and starred in the Sky1 series *Yonderland* (2013–2016). Howe-Douglas co-created and co-wrote the BBC sitcom *Ghosts* (2019–2023), in which she played Lady Stephanie 'Fanny' Button. She has also appeared in films including *Nativity!* (2009) and *Bill* (2015), and series such as *Doctor Foster* (2015).
